Poor
Very poor service. The room looked completely different from what was advertised on the booking website and was not the room I expected. The hotel did not provide what was promised, which was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

A wonderful stay
My stay at Baur au Lac was genuinely wonderful, and it's one of those hotels that manages to make luxury feel effortless rather than performative. One of the highlights of the trip was swimming in the lake just a few minutes from the hotel. Coming back afterwards to such a peaceful setting felt like the perfect combination of being in the city while still having a sense of escape. What impressed me most was the service.
