We would recommend the hotel
It was perfect for our needs. We were there to visit Newgrange
Lovely grounds offered a peaceful evening.
Pros: The grounds were lovely and the room was comfortable. The breakfast offered many choices including a full Irish breakfast. Cons: The lighting in the bathroom around the sink could have been better.
Pros: The grounds were beautiful, staff were fantastic. Rooms were clean and spacious. Cons: The bed I slept in was uncomfortable. I could feel the mattress springs under my back, and the room was really hot, even with the window open.
Beautiful grounds and nice hotel, but no restaurant for meals/coffee during the day or evening.
Pros: Adequate breakfast, location not so ideal for us but really nice grounds to the hotel, very peaceful. Cons: Didn't realise the hotel didn't do food or tea/coffee during the day or evening - if you want something, you have to order it in via Deliveroo/Just Eat etc. Nice hotel but that factor brings it down.
