Good food and location, accommodation was average.
Pros: Breakaways excellent and so was dinner. Cons: We stayed in a superior double. One bedside lamp had no socket to plug in to. The toilet had no loo brush.

Excellent location, Long Melford is a lovely village.
Comfortable, value for money, friendly, good food!
Although oldy it is a really friendly pub with good food and a nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Not 4 star but isn’t pretending to be, just a great coaching inn with friendly and helpful staff and comfy beds and a good shower.
A lovely stay in a truly authentic olde worlde pub :-)
Pros: The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There were tea and coffee facilities provided in the room which was also nice. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent with lots of options and choices. The staff were all lovely and the room was cleaned each day we were there. Cons: There was nothing specific we didn't like although some people may feel the hotel may need a small amount of updating, however we think that this would potentially take away from the authenticity of this beautiful old venue.
Will definitely be back and will recommend
Pros: Wonderful place to stay, staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The location was right in the centre of Long Melford. The room was so spacious Cons: Everything was great 🤗
