Promises made in person were not honoured, leaving us deeply disappointed.
Cons: We tried calling the telephone number listed on both Booking.com and Google several times before making our booking, but nobody ever answered. During our visit, the owner later confirmed that she had blocked our number, even recognizing it by its last digits ("...444"), explaining that she blocks numbers because she receives many spam calls.
When we arrived, the owner initially seemed completely unaware that we had even made a reservation. Because we work remotely, we first tested the Wi-Fi before unloading our luggage. Although our devices connected to the network, there was no usabl

An excellent gem of a place that if you were wanting to disappear for a few nights in comfort, then I’d highly recommend
Pros: It was a quiet and peaceful location. The hosts Ernest and Bernadette are lovely welcoming people. They introduced themselves on arrival and showed us round. We were given a fob for the electric gate, so we could come and go as we pleased. There was a brilliant pool to use too. We would definitely be back to this property.
Cons: If I was being picky, then a freezer for ice would have been a welcome addition, but we put the ice in a wine cooler bucket in the fridge and did the job just fine. Sometimes you just have to be resourceful.
