Comfort Inn Prospect Park-Brooklyn

The hotel was a short walk from the metro, and provided us with comfortable rest at night.

Pros: We only had time for breakfast one of the days. It was satisfactory. Cons: Our shower did not have the option of providing hot water. Moving the handle to the hottest setting provided us with a tepid shower. Also, the refrigerator in our room did not even cool our beverages - kept them at room temperature. We were disappointed at being located in the basement of the hotel. Considering we booked our room 6 months in advance, we expected a room on a floor where we would have a window at eye level.

Disappointing - will not be back.

Pros: The location was the main reason we chose to stay here. Cons: We checked in Wednesday afternoon and there was no hot water. We were told they were working on it with the city gas and it could be off until Saturday. Unacceptable! Thursday we had to shower with a relative nearby. Thursday evening when we returned to hotel the hot water was back on - luckily. Communication from front desk was not enough and was disappointing. The room was on the lowest level and barely got sunlight. I would not recommend the lower level. The room was extremely small - hard to maneuver around the desk chai

Cons: There were no hot water during our two nights staying so we couldn't take showers after whole day touring around the NYC...

The hotel is located in a great spot, not too much noise and less than a ten minuet walk from the metro.
