Loved the young man on reception coundnt do enough for you and great breakfast lovely views

We were looking for a place near the beratan temple. This was just right in front of it. The staff were nice, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. It has nice views of the lake. The rooftop even has nicer views. The welcome drink (ginger tea with brown sugar) was delicious. The mie goreng and nasi goreng for breakfast was also delicious. We enjoyed our stay.

Good location, but thats it

The hotel has a good location and modern design, but thats about it. The room had a smell, was far from clean and the staff spoke bad english. The bathroom got closed and had to open by a key nobody told us about. The resturant closed earlier than staff told us, and there was no other resturants open serving fold by 7-8 o clock. Im totally aware that most hotels are not totally clean, but when there are multiple dirty spots on the bed sheets it gets disgusting. We had also a cockroach, mosqoito and spiser in the room. Make sure to close the bathroom door as it has direct access to the out

Clean modern hotel near the lake and temple.

I would recommend a stay at Dedanau Hotel, especially if you can get a lake view room on the second floor. Beautiful to look out at the lake and mountains. It’s only a 5 minute walk down to the water and temple. Spacious, clean, modern room with an unusually big balcony. Only downside for me was that there were no lamps or light switches near the bed. One switch by the door - so very unusual to have to navigate a (large) hotel room in the dark. I did ask for lamps at reception thinking it was an oversight but apparently it wasn’t. On the third floor there are facilities that I wasn’t expectin
