A very relaxing break. Excellent breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful location and setting. Nice mix of old and new with the leisure facilities and golf

Alright for golfers. Not really a choice for spa weekend.

Pros: The old part of the hotel where the lobby and bar lounge reside is beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant food for both breakfast and dinner was top notch. Cons: The spa was really not up to much. Although the pool was good the sauna, steam room and whirlpool were tiny and uninviting. They felt like an add on for the few spouses joining their partners for golf. They did not provide robes or slippers for guests meaning your 5-10 minute hike to the spa from your room had to be done in clothes.

Many great qualities but a bit overpriced

Pros: Comfy beds and pillows. Staff were excellent - great customer service. Beautiful setting. Tasty food. Cons: It's big and sprawling and lots of stairs to navigate walking back and forwards to different parts of the hotel and facilities. For the price, the quality of in-room toiletries and tea/coffee could be improved. Felt like a low budget hotel on that side of things.
