Pros: Spacious and clean apartment. Responsive, helpful and proactive host. Fair price of the accommodation. Cons: Tourist traps on the way and from accommodation. It is impossible to walk hassle-free around the neighborhood. It is not Diamond Guest House's fault or in their jurisdiction but still affects the overall impression.

Pros: I liked everybody and everything: The two Ahmeds, the owner and the housekeeping staff member are amazing people: helpful, hardworking, try to fulfill any kind of request. Ahmed picked me up at the airport in Luxor as early as 3 am at night, drove me to the guesthouse. Also helped with medication from the pharmacy without asking. Breakfast is generous - either the European version with jam, yogurt, veggies, fruit, cheese or you can have the traditional Egyptian version like foul and/or falafel upon request.
