Docker's Digs is like a home away from home, so comfortable and clean, very impressed indeed

Docker's Digs is like a home away from home, so comfortable and clean, very impressed indeed. It's close to many facilities and easy to travel to Newcastle should you wish to do so. My stay at Docker's Digs was for a girls' weekend and we will be back we enjoyed our stay so much. If you get the chance, book this as you won't be disappointed.

Lovely home away from home in Gateshead

Pros: Flat is beautifully decorated, in a cute retro style. Felt very homely and cosy. Great views from living room window, out across the valley. 10 minute walk to lots of great venues in Gateshead with food and coffee. Fantastic communication from the owner beforehand, clear and easy instructions for accessing the property. Cons: The flat is over the 1st and 2nd floors, and the stairs up to the 2nd floor in particular are very steep and narrow just due to being an older building. The bathroom and living space are both on the 2nd floor, so if there is anyone in the party with mobility challen

Exceptional

Pros: Property in a quiet residential area, easy to park, really good transport links and walkable to city centre. Host really attentive, property very clean and everything comfortable and in working order :) would definitely stay here again. Cons: This wasn't a problem for us but cooking facilities are limited to a microwave so could be an issue if you have a longer stay.

Superb

Pros: A house split into 2 apartments with shared front door, staircase up to the landing, both apartments have their own lockable entrance. It's in a quite location, taxi to and from Central Newcastle around £7. The bedroom are on different levels, the double is up another flight of stairs. Both beds very comfortable. Good WiFi connection. Cosy, tea, coffee and biscuits provided 👍 Early access was granted and the host contacted us to ensure everything was fine and if anything was needed just ask. Cons: When the shower is switched on its is really noisy.
