Pros: Great location, lovely classic grand hotel, friendly and professional staff, very good restaurants on-site, comfortable room and bed! Cons: No complaints!

I thought the Fairmont in San Francisco was the best, but our Gold Suite at the Royal York put SF to shame
I thought the Fairmont in San Francisco was the best, but our Gold Suite at the Royal York put SF to shame. The suite, the exclusive lounge, the exclusive elevator — it was definitely worth the price. I can’t recall the last time I had a hotel room that made me want to stay inside all day, but this one did. Splurge and do it.

The trip was excellent.We attended a concert and I treated my mom to the gold room. However, I booked their hotels.com and then the fair amount when checking in.They charged me again for the room. Which i'm waiting for the money back. Not sure why this happened and hopefully it gets resolved this week. Other than not the hotel is one of my favorites.
