Hotels in Toronto

Toronto is a city of neighbourhoods more than landmarks: Kensington Market's vintage-and-food muddle, Queen West galleries and shops, the cobbled Distillery District, and dozens of communities — over half the city was born outside Canada — that make it one of the best places on the continent to eat your way around the world.

The CN Tower and a summer ferry to the Toronto Islands cover the classic views. Winters are seriously cold, though the PATH network tunnels under downtown, and hotel rates in the core have crept high. Stay downtown for transit and first-visit convenience, or around King West and Queen West for restaurants and nightlife within walking or streetcar distance of everything.
