The room with a view of Mount Fuji and the room bath were really good. Although I understand that the communal bath is small, I wished there was an open-air bath with a view of Mount Fuji. For dinner, unfortunately, coming from a region known for delicious fish, the bonito was not fatty and the rice with saury was not satisfying. It was disappointing that the fish was too familiar. The staff members were friendly and I thought they were wonderful. I hope to visit again to see Mount Fuji covered in snow next time.

Highly negative experience with handling the booking issues between Expedia and the hotel. The hotel wanted to deny half board for kids ("we can only accommodate mom and dad in the restaurant"). Then what should our kids do/eat? No answer. At 18:30 hours, the hotel blamed Expedia while asking us to solve the issue. It was eyebrow-raising when they came to our room with an iPad for a conference call with an employee in Tokyo (but why?). Things got really disappointing when the hotel suggested that I should call Expedia in Europe because they couldn't reach them to solve the issues between Fufu
