Could be a very nice stay if the rooms were cleaned better

Pros: The receptionists were really nice. The location is right next to train station which was very convenient. Room looked nice. Cons: I feel bad for saying this because we didn’t get the vibe like the hotel was careless or anything like that but the room smelled bad and we just couldn’t get rid of the smell. The hotel provides room deodorants which we tried but it didn’t do much. In addition there was a ventilation shaft on one of the walls with a propeller and on the other side of it there was a nest and bird feces which also was a bit unpleasant. Overall that made the room feel not clean.

Pros: Good location next to a fish market. The room is relatively spacious compared to other Japanese hotels. Cons: The mattresses had strong musty smell making it hard to sleep at night.

Pros: Very large and nice traditional Japanese room; good bathroom. Very clean and convenient location. Cons: No breakfast offered and no suggestions from front desk. We found a good one on our own, but it took time.
