Friendly welcome, especially dog friendly
Friendly welcome, especially dog friendly. Excellent breakfasts, lots of choice and delicious. Large grounds, lots of different areas inside and out to relax and enjoy. Room very clean and bed comfortable.
Pros: The manager during dinner was excellent even though they were unexpectedly busy that night Cons: nice waitress but we felt very rushed during breakfast so couldnt relax as we had hoped only one
Pros: The manager during dinner was excellent even though they were unexpectedly busy that night Cons: nice waitress but we felt very rushed during breakfast so couldnt relax as we had hoped only one towel for our double room!
Great stay, fab staff , good breakfast
Pros: Lovely old building. Great staff. Cons: No lifts to upper floors. Like a rabbit warren.
Highly recommended for a singles or couples stay of a few nights.
Pros: Beautiful building and large garden with the option to wander, big enough for dogs to stretch their legs. Cheerful, welcoming staff happy to help where needed in bar and restaurant. Breakfast lovely as continental self service plus optional cooked extras for additional cost. Room spacious, nicely furnished with a very comfortable mattress on the bed. Lovely treats in the bathroom for the traveller. Uber operates in the area, great service if you have the app. Cons: One very minor suggestion for the pillows to be slightly softer. Everything else was fabulous.
