Holiday Inn Denver-Parker-E470/Parker Road by IHG

The hotel is definitely not new and it shows in the little things. The service and quality of the facility is excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only detractions are that it is an older facility. The carpet in the hallways is dated and bears the stains of many high strength cleanings, with bleached out spots. The elevator floors have had the tiles patched with non-matching sealer that makes the floor look worse than a broken tile would look. We don't have a good review of this hotel. The carpets were stained to the point that they felt very dirty. The chair in our room was either filthy or had been cleaned so many times that it looked worn out and filthy. We didn't sit in it at any time during our 3 day stay. There was only one working ice machine out of the three in the hotel. The hallway carpets in front of the elevators on floors 2-4 were rippled making them unsafe for any disabled/handicapped persons - which included both of us. The hotel was outdated and had thin walls, could hear other rooms TVs or conversations in the hallway.
