Pros: Lovely clean, quiet and spacious hotel accommodation in the city of Derby. Me and some others were there for an event in the area, would stay here again. All staff were very polite, friendly and were ready to be of service if me or my group needed anything. Cons: The property was undergoing construction in the ground floor lobby, so was a bit confusing finding reception. Beds could be comfier.

My room (214) was a really lovely room and it was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was super too. However, there were some things other than the room that niggled me. The double doors between sections of the second floor often banged even when you were trying to pass through them quietly. This is just annoying (and noisy!) for all concerned. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant on the Saturday evening and it was absolutely fine but I did feel that the two guys running the show (one on the bar, one on the floor) were stretched a little thin.
