Holiday Inn Los Angeles - LAX Airport by IHG

Nice hotel, with accounting issues.

Pros: The hotel is close to the airport...only a 5. To 10 minute ride. There is a shuttle bus that makes it rounds to the airport every 30 minutes. The rooms are fairly large and very comfortable. The bed was firm and I slept well. Cons: For some reason, the hotel rejected my credit card for the reservation, however the good news is they did hold the room for me. Even though my credit card was fine, I used a different credit card to complete the reservation. The hotel is on a very noisy street. If street noises bother you, then you may have a problem. Convenience, Clean, Friendly staff, Reasonable rate

Pros: Kevin, the manager on duty when we arrived at 8 pm on October 13th, was phenomenal. He clearly (and politely) explained things to us and went above and beyond by providing us with a small discount for parking (which we didn't see was an extra charge of $45). He also provided us with an upgraded room with a King bed. Roxana, in the breakfast buffet area was also very good and attended to us throughout our breakfast.
