We arrived at the hotel at 7:30 PM and wanted to check in

We arrived at the hotel at 7:30 PM and wanted to check in. Check-in until 8:00 PM. We were informed that the room had been rebooked because according to the terms and conditions, check-in must be done by 6:00 PM when paying on-site. Since the terms and conditions consist of 100 pages in microprint that no one reads anyway, we no longer had a room. This could also be noted during check-in. I deleted the Expedia app and now book with other providers.

The lady at the reception during check-in was very friendly

The lady at the reception during check-in was very friendly. The room/the house is very old. Which is not so bad if at least the cleanliness was there. In the bathroom, there were many mold stains in the grout of the tub. The shower curtain had seen better days. The maid's cart was in the hallway day and night. Breakfast - the lady didn't say good morning. You hardly saw her. The coffee was terrible. No fresh bread rolls, they were stale. For 12.50€ per person, I expect more from breakfast! There was no one at the reception in the morning.
