Hôtel Aurore Paris Gare de Lyon

We didn't like our stay and will make sure to never use that hotel again ! To avoid at all costs !

Pros: We arrived later than planned as our train was delayed but it was still fine. Cons: The room looked damaged and dirty. The cupboard was broken. There was just one squashed madeleine next to the coffee machine. The bathroom was the worst! We didn't dare walking without shoes as it was dirty. No hand soap, we had to use the shower gel. We also didn't dare using the shower as some hair were stuck around the shower head. We could hear people talking in the street right next to our window. Thankfully we only stayed for one night!

Pros: It's a basic hotel, looking a bit tired and outdated, but it's in a good location near Gare du Lyon and a lively area. The staff was very friendly. Cons: Everything looked a bit run down.

Great location, decent family room

Pros: Location, Staff, Cons: Room was in need of repairs: we had a hole in the wall, bathroom ceiling was stained. Also the shower leaked all over the floor and there was a lot of hair in the drain that led to slow draining.
