Excellent value for money. Elegant rooms, always clean, well-kept, and tidy. Very kind and helpful staff. 24-hour reception service. Excellent and very abundant breakfast with quality products. A few steps from Termini station.

We visited Rome for a week and really enjoyed the sights and the city, but Hotel des Artistes did not live up to its strong historic ratings. Let’s be clear – this hotel is not the most expensive we’ve stayed in, but it’s not cheap. The hotel does not have a bar, despite online photos suggesting otherwise, and we couldn’t find any actual bars within easy walking distance. The Wi-Fi isn’t truly free - you need to provide your personal details and accept terms & conditions that were only available in Italian. These we were told appear to allow full marketing use of your data and your telephone’s
