Pros: I like the security of the place
Pros: I like the security of the place. There's a bolt at the door.
Our room was small but it was ok.
Cons: Need to replace the 3A batteries for the remote commander of the telly. Also need stirrers for the coffee.
Everything else is good.

Great old hotel, clean room, lovely soft bed and pillows I slept well, friendly & helpful staff too
Pros: I like the soft bed, pillows and new towels. My room at room 201 was comfortable, I had a good sleep. It wasn't as noisy as what others mentioned in their reviews you can hear the music downstairs from the ground floor but it wasn't that loud. The room was clean, smelled lovely hint of rose not overpowering smell. The large round mirror crystal clean, I didn't feel any smudge of dust on the balustrade or the tables. Lighting was good too. The hotel provided toiletries (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body wash, bar soap, hair cap & nail file), enough towels, toilet bowl looks cle

Good.
Pros: It's a funky place with an old vintage style elevator that takes you through the resto and bar up to the rooms on the top 2 floors. Fun for young people or if you're a solo traveller looking to meet folks.
Cons: When we arrived, the door was locked and we had to get the bartender to let us in. The check-in process was confusing and I didn't love that there wasn't a dedicated staff at the front desk at all times. It's also pretty loud due to the resto and bar in the building.
