Hotel Raffaello - Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

I would highly recommend this hotel. The location in Monti was perfect. We walked everywhere for shopping and restaurants. The morning breakfast was great and the rooftop bar was a perfect end to a long day. Speaking of the rooftop bar - My husband accidently left his backpack on one of the chairs and the staff was kind enough to bring it to the front desk for us to retrieve. Our trip could have went in another direction if they were not this kind. My husbands passport and car keys were in his pack. We were feeling very lucky to stay in such a secure place. Clean, quiet, modern room and friendly helpful front desk staff

Pros: Central location, great Neighbourhood, clean, quiet and modern room with large terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The air conditioner in the room wasn’t working upon arrival

Overall, great location and very convenient , very nice hotel especially interior rooms and design.

Pros: Fantastic room, cleanliness and very well maintained. Best is breakfast, I forgot the name who's helping out during the breakfast, she's incredible in making very nice Cappucinno every morning and hot chocolate for us. Cons: Unknown charges at the end of our Stay, it could have been fair if you tell upfront on other charges, I paid additional 110 Euros with no clear explanation.

Lovely rooms, but dodgy and scam-y practices

Pros: The hotel itself is amazing - lovely, modern rooms in a great location. Everything worked well, it had clearly been refurbished recently. Cons: Be careful, because they will jump a bunch of hidden charges on you. They tried to talk us into paying nearly 200€ extra despite our reservation telling us we only owe them 48€ for city tax (we paid already via booking). One was an 'optional' service tax which they add by default. Thankfully, we managed to talk them out of this. But that wasn't all! They also insisted that we owed them a higher city tax than what was stated in our reservation. Th
