Hyatt Place Augusta

A bit hot, humid, and not well organised.

Pros: Hotel was modern and fairly clean, as were the rooms. Cons: The hotel was so humid, and the thermostat didn’t seem to work. Despite settling it to a low temperature, it never turned on until 4am. Also, sadly despite booking through Booking.com, it caused a lot of confusion at check-in as it was third-party. We were then charged a fee the following morning as a “no show.” This was taken off and the woman at the desk was helpful, but it was frustrating as it took a week for it to come off of our credit card statement.

Pros: The room was nice, the beds were comfortable and clean I loved the pillows. Cons: The shower handle was loose, I was afraid it was going to come off and the water would go everywhere. Not enough towels.

We rented this hotel for the pool.we were there for a ball tournament and knew we would have down time. The pool was closed and they never made us aware on the website or when we checked in

Pros: Clean, friendly staff Cons: The pool was under maintenance which was sad because I was specifically looking for a hotel with a pool for the weekend and I checked the actual website to ensure that the pool wasn’t closed but upon arrival we were told the pool was closed.

Nice clean facility. Was much better than I expected and the staff was curteous. The wifi was good and the overall ambience was nice.
