Magnificent location but quite isolated
Pros: The view from the room and the hotel terrace is magnificent. On a clear day, you are directly facing Mount Fuji (which was not our case, it was the rainy season). The buffet restaurant is very varied and excellent, as well as the breakfast. The hotel offers activities on weekend evenings. The walk around the lake is short and pleasant. Traditional room (futon) and no shower, you have to go to the onsen in the hotel to wash. The staff is very helpful. Cons: The hotel is very isolated, to go there without a car, you have to take a bus from one of the Fuji stations. It can be quite long. Th

The facility is beautiful and the food was decent. However, we couldn't see Mount Fuji at all due to rain on both the day and the next day.

The hotel's location with a magnificent view of Tanukiko and Mount Fuji. The architecture of the building is very modern and adapted to the view of the lake. We had a wonderful time. The dinner was also very good.
