A good stay that could have been great.

Pros: Much. Lots of good things about the room, very pleasant staff and nice location. Cons: Like many hotels these days, the needs of people who need to get up in the night in unfamiliar surroundings are not met. There was no small, separate bathroom light. As so often, it was all or nothing.
