Not a 5 star hotel
Pros: The staff were excellent. Extremely helpful. Lovely location and views. Cons: The first room (206) I was given was tiny and was supposed to be for 2 people. The decor was extremely dated and awful. Also, the fridge clicked off and on all night. I complain in the morning and were move to a bigger (not big) room, which was much better. The compromise was that there was no view. We also weren't impressed with the breakfast. It was just ok. These are things you don't expect from a supposedly 5 star hotel.

Such a treat. Our second home from home.
Pros: Breakfast delicious & we got our usual table in The Conservatory looking out to the golf course/sea. Just the wayvwe like it. Thank you. Cons: Nothing. We go to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Just love everything about The Marine in Troon.
