It was lovely and relaxing, great breakfast, the only downside was we came during the heatwave but there was nothing the
Pros: The staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast was tasty and you could have it in your room which was an added bonus, the room was spacious. Cons: The room was extremely hot, but the hotel had supplied 2 fans but there is no plug sockets beside the bed so you had to plug them far away and that didn’t really help with the heat. There was also limited plug sockets within the room having to unplug other things to charge a phone or plug fan in.

My views of the Mecure Swansea Hotel
Pros: The bar area and the meal l purchased was good. The staff on reception were very friendly and informative. Very knoledgable of the surounding area's and Swansea. Cons: The hotel looked very tired and definitly in need of a refurbishment. The hotel is badly in need of air conditioning, With the hot weather it was difficult to sleep. Although the hotel did provide fans, all they did was blow the hot air around. There was approximatly around 20 of us that stayed during the weekend and everyone was of the same dislikes about this hotel.

Overall it as a very nice hotel my only problem was i was hoping for a good night speep as i had an early start on the Saturday morning, sleeping by 8:30pm and some idiots decided to smoke in their ro
Overall it as a very nice hotel my only problem was i was hoping for a good night speep as i had an early start on the Saturday morning, sleeping by 8:30pm and some idiots decided to smoke in their room and set off the fire alarm at 11:45pm. So everyone was walking the corridors for about an hour trying to fine out whats wrong. I had left my key in the room so had to wait for someone to let me back in i know it wasn't the hotels fault. I gave a high score to the hotel, but a 0 score to the idiots

Not bad but could be better
Pros: Rooms clean, dogs allowed, towels provided, parking included. Iron was useful. Cons: I was told dog fee was £15, but when we arrived it was actually £45 as price per day, which was not specified. There was a heatwave so the lack of air con a shame! Also no mini fridge. Probably this is stated on the listing so maybe my fault I just assumed most hotels had these. The room was dated with a few repairs needed. Ants in the room, but again, heatwave may have prompted this.
