Clean, quiet room, friendly staff, below average breakfast

Liked • The room was clean and very quiet and the beds comfortable, not too hard. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The location was great, walkable to most sights and the city center. It was a very pleasant stay overall. Disliked • Breakfast was the same every day (only the pastries changed) and didn't have enough variety. For example, there was no fish, hummus, salads, dips, pancakes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, or any fried potatoes or hash browns on the buffet. The fruit was unripe/hard every day (melon and kiwis). The coffee machine on the right side delivers only lukewarm coffee. I

Perfect place to base out of for a visit to Vienna! Very close to museums, great small boutique shopping and interesting, independently owned cafes. Easy to use Ubahn station very close by that can take you anywhere in the City. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Our room was large and simply furnished, perfect for what we were looking for. Breakfast was very well stocked with plenty of wait staff to help navigate the buffet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to stay that is off the beaten path.

Tired but well positioned hotel

The hotel is well located. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very tired and old. The rooms are small and have limited amenities. The air-con controls don’t work. The hotel could do with an overhaul. Lovely sauna and facilities.
