Gyeongju is a great place to visit!!

Pros: Review for Number 25 Gyeongju City Hall We paid KRW 475,000 for our one night stay, and unfortunately, the accommodation did not meet expectations. The room had a strong smell of smoke, the bed was hard as bricks, and overall the facilities were extremely basic. The hotel is located in what appears to be a red-light district, with considerable noise throughout the night. Breakfast consisted of plain white bread and a boiled egg, which was quite underwhelming given the price. What truly stood out, however, was the host — she was exceptional. Pros: A very friendly english speaking lady at the reception. Clean, cosy and kind of interesting accomodation in the heart of gyeongju. Bus stop is nearby as well as restaurants. Cons: Breakfast is a catastrophy. Poor selection of food in plastic. Even worse than in American motels. Though the breakfast rooms seems like a mess. The Hotel seems more like a Love Hotel were secret coubles tend to meet after Work and prefer to check in discretely. Unfortunately there was no big bath towel available..
