A lovely big hotel with excellent facilities. Generous room - so clean, comfortable and stylish. Loved the tastefully decorated bar area too. Excellent restaurant with lovely staff.
A lovely hotel in the Peaks
Pros: Outstanding breakfast with lots of choice and excellent produce, very good dinner also. The grounds were very nice and the setting in the Peaks beautiful. The room was large, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a very enjoyable stay and will look to stay again when passing through the area. Cons: While the main bed was very nice, the sofa bed that we also had to use (for a family of four) was not so comfortable. The floor in the bathroom got rather wet with the shower which was not ideal with small children, but this may have been because we were in an accessible ro

Pros: I cannot fault anything about this hotel. From the minute we walked through the door there was always a smile. It didn't matter which member of staff it was or the department, everybody spoke and always had a smile. Cons: Nothing
Very relaxing perfect for our anniversary
Pros: Location was perfect room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely and helpful. Cons: Tiny issue with a window that wouldn’t open
Simply superb!
Pros: Superb! Lovely surroundings. Comfortable bed - not too hard or too soft! We had a superb view over the lake and could see so much wildlife, including highland cattle in the neighbouring field. Restaurant and bar superb (though pricey - for a special occasion). View over the peaks from the veranda is superb. We have already booked for two more short stays! Cons: Nothing!
