A reasonable overnight stay at Troon.
Pros: The location suited our needs. The historic perspective of the property. Cons: Room outside the kitchen exhaust fan which went late evening and started early morning.
All good
Pros: All good Cons: Nothing
Disappointed
We stayed at this hotel for a relaxing night away. The hotel itself is lovely. The bar area is nice and the breakfast was good. We were allocated room 4 - it’s a nice room but it is right next to the kitchen roof - 6am the fan comes on and it’s very loud. I was woken up by it so I raised it with reception when we checked out - the receptionist did not apologise but did say “yes that noise comes from the kitchen fan” … at £190 a night it’s simply not acceptable!
Fantastic accommodation & really helpful staff
