Wonderful
I was blown away by the sight of the cathedral lit up when I went out after dark for a meal. It was wonderful to be so close to it and so quiet. My room was really small (101) but fine and the breakfast good. But the layout for breakfast could do with a time and motion study. Why does one come to the hot meal before the cereal. and there were n o trays.
Pros: Excellent welcoming reception staff, excellent central location right opposite the cathedral. Very tasty breakfast. Cons: Room basic but secure.

Magical area
Pros: Great location in beautiful Salisbury next to Salisbury Cathedral with the Magna Carta and a short walk to the museum with Stonehenge artifacts. We did the evening tour of Stonehenge.we took a cab there and back. We were amazed at how much of the history of Europe converges there, Cons: No negatives
