Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel

Reasonable

Pros: Location of the hotel is good for those who go to Stanford University - a 25 minutes please walk through the park and you are there. Hotel has very good coffee stand with Starbuck coffee choices. It also has a decent pool but we did not used it. Cons: We booked large room with balcony over the swimming pool area but we were told that they are not available and gave us 1st are room with patio instead. It was at the very far corner of the facility in very dark area. We really did not like it and never used the patio : it simply not appealing.

Would stay here again, but not in the same room.

Pros: The customer service was great, allowing for late check out and onsite parking after check out. They were very helpful in all ways! Cons: Room 1028 should not be a room - it is right on the corner of a major thoroughfare and across the hall from the fitness center. All conversations from the hallway came straight into the room.

Cons: Primero soy dueña de propiedad en Marriott por lo que en todos los hoteles me dan un upgrade de alguna forma, en este hotel al llegar no encontramos agua en el cuarto, los desayunos no fueron incluidos como en un lounge que siempre me dan y fueron tan pocos días pero el primero regresamos tarde y el cierto no lo habían hecho, para el valor que pagué me pareció incorrecto el servicio.

Extremely loud elevator noise

I was initially placed in room 2027 and it was barely suitable for occupancy. It was next to the elevators and every minute or two there was a very loud noise—like an angle grinder or rotary saw cutting through concrete—as the elevator machinery operated. I had great difficulty sleeping as a result. I asked the front desk to be moved to another room, and for my second night I was in a room (2015) that was much quieter and far more pleasant. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful, and I have nothing but positive things to say about their work—but they also indicated that this is a known
