Lovely staycation
The hotel is so cute and design is modern desert chic; very much like the Ace properties. The staff was very accommodating with our late checkout when we had to change rooms and housekeeping was polite and patient with us. Marie at the restaurant was amazing. We also really enjoyed Alistair and Cecily; consistently great vibes from all of the staff at Marco Polo and we were happy to see them each day. Marie went out of her way to help us multiple days in a row and I hope there is someone like her at every restaurant i go to in the future. Perfect customer service each time we interacted with
Amazing staff and Beautiful hotel
We had such an amazing time here! Reesee and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and aesthetically cute! Would highly recommend staying here.
Don't stay here
Cons: Really terrible experience. They overcharged us by $500 - we essentially paid for 3 nights instead of 2. They don't tell you but they open the pool to the public for a party on Sundays. The music was so loud, the tiny pool was crowded with people drinking and being loud. It was the least relaxing hotel experience I've ever had, and I paid more for it than advertised. They didn't even offer to refund me for the money they charged me incorrectly. Avoid booking this place at all costs.
For the price, I think more amenities are warranted; however, the location is excellent.
Pros: The location was great - right next to Erewhon and several coffee shops and restaurants. Appreciate that the pool opened at 7 a.m. Cons: There is a lack of places to hang things in the room - really need more hooks or bars to hang towels, for instance. Also a desk would be nice as would complementary coffee and/or happy hour given the price. A fitness room would also be a welcome addition. Also we were told that since we were only there for two days, there would not be housekeeping unless requested. We didn't request and yet housekeeping did come in and made our bed and replaced towels.
