Beautiful boutique hotel

Pros: We had a beautiful stay at Sol Sanctum - we loved the breakfasts, clean and modern rooms and the staff were very kind and looked after us. We stayed during carnival season so unfortunately didn’t get to try out the yoga classes but it was great to know they were available. There are only about 8 rooms in the hotel so you really get to know the staff and it felt very welcoming and homely. Cons: Nothing. The only small downside is that it’s a bit of a walk from the shops and restaurants but it’s very easy to get a taxi so it wasn’t a problem.

Salubrity and solace

Pros: Everything I hoped it would be and more! The perfect get away retreat for a full nervous system reset. Amazing food, incredible ambiance, great staff. Definitely coming back soon! Cons: The lights in the bathroom flickered a bit intermittently which wasn’t pleasant since I tend to get migraines, but it wasn’t anything particularly cumbersome. The water stopped on my very last day too which was odd but overall great.
