Hotels in Gros Islet

Gros Islet is the tourist heart of northern St Lucia: the original fishing village hosts the famous Friday-night street party of grilled fish and soca, while next-door Rodney Bay holds the island's biggest concentration of hotels, the marina and the long sand of Reduit Beach, with Pigeon Island National Landmark closing off the bay.

It is also the island's cricket capital — the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground at Beausejour, just inland, stages the St Lucia Kings' Caribbean Premier League home matches, and floodlit games here are as much fete as sport. Stay around Rodney Bay or Reduit Beach and you can walk or take a short taxi to everything; book ahead for CPL week and the winter season.
