Good location, pretty dated rooms
Pros: Good location, lovely staff, food very good. Cons: Very dated, bathroom in pretty poor state, rooms too hot , no air conditioning or fan

An overnight stay for a visit to Troon
Pros: Genuinely friendly, welcoming staff. This hotel is comfortable and clean. Rooms could do with a refresh/refurb. That said everything worked as it should and was spotless so no great issue. It’s in a great location. The food and hospitality were both excellent and great value. We had a lovely stay. Cons: Overall we loved our stay. Yes there are areas that could do with refurbishing, but not so much as to negatively impact our stay, they just add to the charm of a well run and welcoming hotel.
