A delightful small hotel
My partner & I tried to stay at this historic boutique hotel in the past, but it may have been under renovation at that time. This time I was traveling alone, and I could not have been more pleased with my room, with the amenities, with the staff, etc. The hotel even offers a little happy hour in the early evening, in their very pretty bar/parlour, and also puts on a nice breakfast in the morning. (Strong coffee!)
It is in a great neighborhood, where my room looked right out at Golden Gate Park. It is an easy walk to cafés, the famous Haight St. shopping area, to the Muni for the ball park,

Such a great trip, and this hotel made it even better.
I was very thankful for the staff at the Stanyan Park Hotel. They did a great job making the experience enjoyable, and warm. The nightly wine hour was really lovely, and I was thankful for such a great gathering space. Also, loved the location of this hotel- so easy to get around. Thank you!

Pros: clean, staff great and helpful I chose it because it was close to UCSF where I had an appointment
Cons: Not into Old historic places, no parking, I'm 82, disabled and not into waling half a bloc
