Pros: I loved everything. I think it’s one of the nicest places I stayed in Scotland. Cons: Absolutely nothing. Alex, who checked us in, even helped carry bags upstairs for us.
Absolute gem. Get out of St Andrews and go stay at The Bank in Anstruther. 100% recommend.
Pros: We liked so many things. Excellent location. Superb. Shops, pubs, and beach right outside your door. Easy 4min walk to pier. Easy 20min drive to see St. Andrews. Easy 900m walk to play golf. Beautiful seaside walk to tide pools in the next town. Easy walk to great restaurants nearby (The Dreel was perfect). Staff was excellent. Some staff was new, but so polite and accommodating. Had fun times at the in-house bar on Karaoke night, at the in-house restaurant, and again at the in-house outdoor beer garden. Good beds, clean, high ceiling rooms.
