Pros: We liked everything about The Bear! It's in a great location with the bonus of free parking. Our room was spacious and comfortable with fabulous decor. You could tell that every detail had been thought through, from the cleanliness to the little extras! The team is welcoming and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Great breakfast too! Cons: There's nothing to dislike.

Comfortable and welcoming hotel.
Pros: Lovely comfortable hotel. Very historic. We were in the top floor room at the front of the hotel. Newly refurbished. We were happy. It was hot weather during our stay. A fan was provided. Cons: Very lively town. Lots of late night noise as the pubs and clubs emptied on the Saturday night. Other nights were ok. It didn't bother us too much. We would go back.
