Lovely hotel
Absolutely loved this property. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. We stayed here for my daughters 16th birthday and she couldn’t get over how pretty everything was.
Immaculate beautiful historical hotel in downtown Denver. Room was very nice. We ate at the Taverns and used the valet to park. Food was great, and the valet saved possibly decades of our life so we didn't have to find parking.
Brown Palace overbooked and sent us to a crappy Holiday Inn Express
Return customer, I booked a room at the Brown Palace last month. Upon check-in this afternoon, they told me they're OVERBOOKED and that we would have to stay across the street at their sister Holiday Inn Express. It's a total dump. If they'd informed me of this OVERBOOKING before I drove all the way to Denver, I would've made other arrangements. I will never come back. Bait and switch rip-off
Not a good choice
Pros: The location. Cons: There was nobody to help myself and the 89 year old friend I had driven to Denver with our luggage. We put them on a cart and took them to the room ourselves. We got to the room and it was one King bed, NOT a two quern room that had been reserved. We were not greeted with a complimentary cocktail as stated in their correspondence, no info as to dining, breakfast, etc Staying at the Brown was a bad choice, I've stayed there over the past 50 years, but this is the last.
