Enjoyable stay ~ comfy bed and great foodexcellent food

Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the staff in the pub were excellent ~ polite and very efficient. The breakfast was fabulous. Cons: The stair case leading up to the property, it was very steep and in need of a spruce up. The shower fittings were of a poor quality.

Very comfortable overnight stay in a twin room. The room and facilities were spotless.

Pros: The location was lovely and very convenient for our needs The breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and good choices Cons: The blinds on the bedroom windows were very difficult to put up and down. Basic curtains that pull together would work much better.

Staff are excellent

A great place to get some sleep and breakfast, but public transport isn't great in the area.

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and were always quite accommodating to me, both for my early check in and late check out. The breakfast was very nice, providing plenty of variety to chose from all provided for free with the price for you to pick and chose from. The room was comfortable and while not too big provided a decent enough place to sleep, start and wrap up the day while I was there. The counter also provide the number of some taxi companies that were decently affordable which came in handy for me on Sunday. The dinner portions are quite large and were cooked up tasting very n

Very basic country pub

Pros: Close to friends Cons: Room was dirty - dustbin hadn't been emptied from previous guests. Breakfast was pretty bad - one poor young man on his own cooking and serving, no marmalade, long wait for any food.
