Good but overpriced for the condition of the hotel & grounds

Pros: Location, staff, layout of the hotel, bar prices were fair, although we didn't have the breakfast the price was fair.. Cons: The hotel needs a revamp for the cost paid. It needs a gardener.

Pleasant but wouldn't stay again.

Pros: Having a terrace was lovely, however the garden it looked out on not so much. It was nice to be out of the way, so nice and quiet. Cons: The bathroom floor was spongey and made you feel like you were going to fall through. The gardens the terrace looked out on was unkept, there were random cups and other crockery dotted about which had been used as ash trays. We asked to be next to each other but we weren't, the whole hotel was very dated and in desperate need of updating.
