Really lovely, great value for money and Ruth is a great host.

Pros: The room was perfect for what we needed for our one night stay, and was nicely decorated and clean. There were thoughtful touches like tea, coffee and (real) milk in the room plus cereal and fruit to tide us over before breakfast. Ruth was lovely and very helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Cons: We found the shower mechanism to be really tricky; it was really stiff and we were initially worried we were breaking it. Perfect

Pros: We had an evening meal at the restaurant and our breakfast the following morning. Both were delicious and a very high standard. Cons: Nothing - we wished we could have stayed longer it was fantastic.

A beautiful pub and location. The food was also excellent, as were the staff who went out of the way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely planning to return 👍
