Pros: The location is beautiful! The food was nice Cons: Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was far below an acceptable standard. I found hair and dirt in the bed sheets, as well as hair around the shower tap. The fitted carpet was also visibly filthy and badly in need of cleaning. What was particularly disappointing was that the cleaner left the clean towels directly on the floor, which is completely unhygienic. Overall, the level of cleanliness was unacceptable, especially for a hotel booked through Booking.com. Basic hygiene and housekeeping standards should be a minimum expectatio

Great location. Breakfast until 11 🥳 Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms in need of TLC.
Pros: The location is fab! Easy train journey into Edinburgh. Good car parking. Breakfast served until 11 am! Fantastic! Cons: Rooms need TLC. Areas of the shower needed a good dousing of Flash with Bleach!! A couple of armchairs would have added a bit of comfort.
