Flott hotel med perfekt beliggenhet, hyggelig personale.
Pros: Wonderful staff, wonderful back garden (though it was under construction mostly) and the location was great to access the GG Park. The heat in the room only dissipated with the windows open and that meant less privacy and more noise. But it was a wonderful stay overall.
Cons: No AC. A bit noisy in the back garden too early in the morning but not outrageously so. No sleeping in! It was a very stripped down room; no fridge, (I didn't expect one but just to mention) queen bed felt more of a full size and the TV was at an angle (facing the side of the bed) that wasn't useful but we didn't ca

Great hotel with perfect location, friendly staff.
Perfect location, friendly and accommodating staff. Very nice hotel with a lot of great art on the walls, charming with a little creak in the stairs and crooked floors. Cozy backyard. The room was nice with a great bathroom.

We loved our stay at the Metro Hotel and would happily stay again.
Pros: Great little hotel in a fabulous location. Easy walking distance to bars, cafes, public transport (& Haight-Ashbury!) Art throughout the hotel and Lindt balls in the foyer :)
Cons: Stairs were challenging with luggage. No coffee in the room (although there was a cafe next door).
