Die Lage ist wirklich ausserordentlich: Phantastische Aussicht auf die drei Brücken über den Firth of Forth. Kurze Fusswegdistanz zur Buslinie, die ins Zentrum von Edinburgh führt. Zweckmäßige moderne Einrichtung. Zwar kein persönlicher Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin, aber detaillierte praktische Informationen per E-Mail.
Great location, well cleaned but extremely hot inside in the summer= no sleep.
Pros: + Well cleaned and well maintained. + Well equipped kitchen nook. + Great location and GREAT view!!! + Kind and helpful owner. Cons: -Huge windows+ sun shining directly on them= over 30 degrees inside!! No windows to open, only the front door and nothing to shade from the outside. (The black blinds became extremely hot). This unfortunately resulted in sleepless nights. - The duvet free blankets, and the pillowcases, was of 100% glossy polyester (=100%plastic), not a great combo with the heat! - There was no toilet lid! And no holder for the toilet paper... -Weird that the guests expect
Overall a wonderful experience and I shall hope to go again!
Pros: Location: easy walk to town Centre, supermarket and train station, yet away from crowds. The view is fantastic! Cons: Steep stone steps and wobbly handrail. Washing machine was inaccessible. No opening windows apart from entrance door
Studio with a view
Pros: The location was perfect. You had walking access to the High Street and several local off road walks. The layout of the studio is very clever to enjoy the space you have. It has an array of dishes and glasses to use. It is comfortable and warm with beautiful views across the Eustary. We would love to of used the outdoor terrace more watching and listening to the wildlife. Cons: It lacked a nice big chopping board but that is only nit picking.

The Nook is very cosy, comfortable and private. The views are spectacular and the host is very friendly and accommodating.
