The North Garden Hotel Beijing Wangfujing

Facilities & service in the hotel is acceptable but do not warrant praise.

The location is good but the map makes it APPEAR closer to the Forbidden Palace then it actually is. It is located on a side street and is walking distance to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street and Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant. I don' think the breakfast was worth the asking price but it was convenient. Ordering online could have been a better option if you have the applicable Chinese Apps. The rooms were clean and average.

Great location for walking around the city 's jewels like The Forbidden City and Tianament Square. Easy access to Wangfujing pedestrian shopping. The hotel staff doesn't speak much English, Spanish or Russian and communication was entirely via AI translation. There was some kind of renovations going on and it was a tad noisy with drilling but the room was clean, the bedding was changed everyday. Saying that tgough, it meant regular visits from the chambermaids, one day there were 3 entries, even though we were jetlagged in bed. In the end, i had to ask them to leave the bedding and just clean

Great place to stay

Location can not be beat! It was so convenient to Wangfujing, the subway, restaurants, and big tourist sites were less than two miles away so still walkable. I will say the hotel doesn’t cater to western tourists, but was very easy to check in/store bags at check out. I had a renovated room which was fairly standard, but the bathroom kind of shocked me. The tub was not clean looking; they did have a mat so it worked out okay. But checking in I was not sure what I was getting into. Maid service was excellent. They always made my bed, refreshed my towels, and added extra waters. Would stay a
