Very good hotel worth revisiting.

Pros: Good location. Clean. Friendly staff. Well decorated. Free minibus into Salisbury. Cons: Public sitting areas lack character and don’t feel particularly cosy.

Pros: The location is excellent. We had rooms with lovely views of the river and cathedral. The bedrooms were large and the mattress was very comfortable. Cons: There was no lamp, reading light, light switch or power socket on one side of the bed so there was no light if you needed to get out of bed in the night. There was hand-wash and shower gel but no other toiletries. The bar is limited and breakfast was ok but very average. I expected a little more luxury when paying £250 per room per night.
