Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.
Pros: Location and still Cons: The most important thing in a hotel is a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were in very poor condition. The pillows were old, lumpy, and extremely uncomfortable, making it almost impossible to sleep. In addition, all of the doors appear to be old and make a very loud noise when closing, which creates constant disturbance. What was even more unacceptable was that at 11:40 PM I was awakened by a loud conversation between the front desk employee and a guest right outside my room. Pros: Location was perfect. Cons: It was very old but the rooms were renovated. No AC.
I am glad it was only for one day. The front desk receptionist was very cold and unwelcoming.
Pros: The location was ideal for the day. That’s about it. Cons: The hotel and our rooms did not have any air conditioning. The temperature at the hotel and in our rooms was very high. The two windows in my room were jammed shot, I could not open them. It was late at night and I was exhausted from a 7 hours drive to the hotel. The next morning, I couldn’t relax in my room because of the heat of the sun, I had to go outside, on the street, to get some fresh air. Furthermore, the woman on the front desk was very rude, unhelpful, and unwelcoming, as if she was doing us a favor by checking us in.
